This spring, Elise Raphel, Director of Investor Relations, and John Kiser, President and CEO of Five States Energy, traveled to connect with investors across the country.
Their first stop was Birmingham, Alabama, where they were welcomed with warm hospitality and engaged dialogue about the state of the energy markets. With many Southern investors having built careers in oil and gas, the conversations reflected a deep interest in Five States’ fund strategies and long-term perspective.
From there, Elise and John traveled to New York City for the iConnections Global Alts conference, one of the industry’s premier gatherings for asset allocators and investment managers. The conference featured high-impact meetings and forward-looking panel sessions. A highlight of the event: John had the chance to pose a question to Katie Couric during a discussion on microplastics and environmental sustainability.
To conclude the trip, Five States hosted a happy hour at Connelly’s in Midtown Manhattan, bringing together investors, fund managers, and friends of the firm for a lively evening of conversation and community. More investor events are planned for later this year.
