Alice Catalano is Chief Marketing Officer of Five States, where she leads the firm’s marketing strategy, investor communications, and capital formation initiatives. She oversees enterprise marketing, brand positioning, and distribution, while driving operational alignment to support growth, strengthen execution, and elevate the experience for investors, partners, and intermediaries.
Alice brings more than 25 years of experience in real asset private equity, with senior leadership roles spanning energy, infrastructure, and real estate. Prior to joining Five States, she served as Director of Investor Relations at NGP Energy Capital Management, where she raised more than $13 billion across eight flagship energy private equity funds and co-investment vehicles and served as a voting member of the investment team.
She also served as Managing Director at Prostar Capital, a global energy private equity firm, where she helped raise more than $1 billion for North American and Asian energy funds and was directly involved in deal sourcing, financial modeling, and transaction execution.
Across her career, Alice has partnered extensively with institutional investors, including pensions, endowments, family offices, and sovereign wealth funds, through multiple commodity and market cycles. Her broader real assets background includes upstream energy, infrastructure, and real estate, with deep experience in fundraising strategy, investment committees, and portfolio oversight.
In her spare time, Alice enjoys spending time with her three boys, skiing, and has a passion for cooking and entertaining.
