Tom Barnes serves as Treasurer and Vice President of Corporate Planning at Five States Energy. He is responsible for underwriting acquisitions, managing corporate budgets, analyzing portfolio performance, and overseeing investor valuations and commodity price hedging.
Tom joined the company in 2000, bringing with him financial expertise honed in his prior roles as Senior Financial Analyst at Cornerstone E&P and Financial Data Analyst at Standard & Poor’s.
He holds a BA in Finance from the University of Texas at Arlington and previously passed the FINRA Series 79 exam.
Outside of work, Tom enjoys fly fishing and traveling.
