Jon Grundy serves as Vice President of Accounting at Five States Energy, where he oversees the Firm’s accounting, tax, treasury and financial reporting. In this capacity, he manages compliance, cash distributions and strategic relationships with banking and financial service providers. Additionally, Jon supports investor communications through preparation of valuation reports and financial updates.
Jon brings more than 30 years of accounting and finance experience across multiple industries, including oil and gas, manufacturing, and public accounting. Prior to Five States, he served as Corporate Controller for Axis Energy Services, a nationwide oil and gas well services organization.
Jon is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who earned both his BBA in Finance and MS in Accounting from University of North Texas. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of CPAs.
In his spare time, Jon enjoys skiing, fishing and spending time with his family.
