Thomas Edwards is the Director of Asset Acquisitions & Development at Five States Energy, where he is responsible for originating, underwriting, and executing investment opportunities and divestitures across the firm’s portfolio. He also leads and maintains relationships with the company’s network of operating partners, playing a key role in business development and strategic growth.
Thomas began his career in the healthcare sector as a consultant specializing in revenue cycle management. Thomas returned to Five States in 2020 to resume his leadership in asset sourcing and deal execution. Since then, he has originated over $100 million in investments for the firm. His expertise in market intelligence, financial analysis, and deal structuring has made him a key contributor to the firm’s continued success.
He holds a BS in Business Administration from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and a MBA from Southern Methodist University and is an active member of the ADAM Energy Forum and the Dallas Petroleum Club. He also serves on the ADAM Golf Committee. Outside of the office, Thomas enjoys skiing, golf, hunting, fishing, travel, and woodworking.
